Mozilla Thunderbird

This document will assist you in running through the Mozilla Thunderbird Setup Wizard.
 
Step 1:
 
Upon opening the program you may be prompted to import your existing Outlook Express mail and settings. If you are setting this up for the first time do not import.
 
Step 2:
 
Select Email account and click Next.
 
 
Step 3:
 
Type in Your Name and Email Address. What ever you type in the Your Name filed will be displayed when someone receives an email from you.
 
 
Step 4:
 
Select POP as your incoming mail server. Enter pop3.nac.net as the Incoming Server and smtp.nac.net as the Outgoing Server. Place a check next to User Global Inbox. Click Next.
 
 
Step 5:
 
Type in your Incoming User Name which is the first part of your email address. Leave the Outgoing User Name field blank.
 
 
Step 6:
 
Type NAC for the Account Name and hit Next.
 
 
Step 7:
 
Congratulations! You have completed the Thunderbird setup. Click Finish and the program will begin downloading your email.
