Windows XP PPPOE DSLBecause Windows XP supports PPPOE connections you do not need any special software from Net Access. You will need only an Ethernet Card and/or USB connection on your computer in addition to the DSL modem.
Step 1:
Click on Start => Control Panel. Inside of Double click on the Network and Internet connections icon.

Step 2:
Click on the Set up or change your Internet connection icon.

Step 3:
Click on the connection tab and then click on the setup button on the top.

Step 4:
You are now in the New Connection Wizard. Click Next.

Step 5:
You will be asked to choose the type of Internet connection you want to setup. Put a mark next to Connect to the Internet and click Next.

Step 6:
On the next screen, put a mark next to Setup my connection manually and then click the Next button.

Step 7:
Since we are setting up a connection for your DSL put a mark next to Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password. Click Next.

Step 8:
You will have to name the connection. Type in Net Access and then click Next.

Step 9:
Type in your username and password. You will also need to type in your password a second time for confirmation. If you have multiple people logging in to your computer put a mark on the first box and also put a check next to Make this the default Internet connection. Click the Next button to continue.

PLEASE NOTE: Remember to use the login format of username@nac.net.
Step 10:
The connection wizard is complete. Put a mark next to Add a shortcut to this connection on my desktop and then click finished.

Step 11:
To connect to your DSL double click on the Net Access connection icon that is on your desktop. Click connect. Open a browser after the connection is established. You can now use the Internet.
