WS_FTP Setup - Business Hosting

Net Access recommends using WS_FTP to transfer your files to our server. If you do not have WS_FTP, click here to download a copy.

Step 1:

Click on the New button to create a new profile. On the General tab you will have to supply a profile name, hostname, username, and a password. You can name the profile anything you would like. After entering in this information click on the Apply button.

Step 2:

On the next tab, Startup, you may want to specify the location of your web files on your computer. You do not have to specify the initial remote host directory. You will automatically be put into your web directory on our server when you log in.

Step 3:

To connect to the web server, click on the OK button. If you see a window similar to the one below, then you are connected to our web server. Your files on your computer are on the left hand side and your directory on our server is on the right hand side.

Step 4:

To upload (transfer a file) to our server, click the file you want to put on our server and then click on the right arrow button. Please make sure you that the first file you upload is called index.html, index.htm, or index.asp (if you are using asp).
