How do I add or modify DNS records with Net Access?

 

This can be done through the Customer Care section of our website.  If you do not have a customer care account please contact customer service at 973.590.5011. 

 

Can I call, fax, or email my request?

 

The preferred method for DNS modifications is though the Customer Care section of our website. By using customer care your request will be processed in no more than 15 minutes. Calls, faxes, and emails require Net Access to verify the authority of the requester prior to making changes which will bring about a delay of up to 24 hours or more.

 

How long will it take for my change to go through?

 

All DNS changes will process every 15 minutes, however, DNS propagation times will vary with each DNS server on the Internet. As a general rule, expect a 24-48 hour propagation time before others on the Internet will see the DNS change.
